Bahrain reports 245 new cases on Friday

The Ministry of Health confirmed that it detected 245 new coronavirus cases in total, bringing the total of active cases to 2,408.

Of the 205 new cases reported earlier, 138 are expatriate workers and 67 are contacts of active cases. Another 40 cases were reported later at 10 pm.

The Ministry of Health also recorded 28 recoveries from COVID-19 today, increasing total recoveries in Bahrain to 2,028. 

Currently, a total of 172,158 people have been tested and  2,408 active cases have been confirmed, amongst which 2 patients are in critical condition. Eight deaths have been recorded in total.
