Bahrain reports 69 additional cases and 7 recoveries

The Ministry of Health confirmed that it detected 69 more new coronavirus cases today, bringing the total of active cases to 1,781.

Of the 69 new active cases, 34 are expatriate workers and 35 are contacts of active cases.

The Ministry of Health also records 7 additional recoveries from COVID-19, increasing total recoveries in Bahrain to 1,744.

Earlier, 81 new cases were reported of which 67 are expatriate workers, 13 are contacts of active cases, and 1 was repatriated by the Repatriation Programme.

Currently, a total of 149,586 people have been tested and the total number of confirmed active cases is 1781, amongst which 1 patient is in critical condition.

Eight deaths have been recorded in total.
