Bahrain: Restaurant closed for flouting COVID-19 measures

The Public Health Directorate closed one restaurant for one week for flouting the mandatory COVID-19 precautionary measures.

Food control inspectors referred 64 restaurants and cafes to the authorities last Thursday to face action, said the Ministry of Health.

Inspectors visited a total of 202 restaurants and cafes to ensure compliance with health protocols and preventive measures.

Establishments that fail to meet the required standards are warned to address the issues and rise up to the needed responsibility levels and implement anti-COVID measures.
