Bahrain: Salon shutdown for violating COVID-19 guidelines

The Inspection Department at the Ministry of Industry closed a men’s salon which violated the requirements of providing massage service, announced the Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Industry through its official website and social media accounts.

The Ministry stressed the importance of following the health requirements referred to in the Minister of Health Decision No. (32) for the year 2020 after allowing the salons and barbershops to be reopened from May 27, 2020.

It noted that all workers and owners of barbershops and salons must be committed to the decisions and preventive requirements aimed at preserving the health and safety of all. The ministry called on all visitors of these shops to cooperate in implementing the decisions as, it added, it was the responsibility of all to limit the spread of the COVID-19.
