Bahrain: Schools Require Clear E-Learning Strategy
All higher education institutions have presented the plans they are implementing regarding the application of e-learning systems to ensure the continuity of the educational and academic process, as well as achieve the expected outputs.
Higher Education Council’s (HEC) Assistant Secretary-General for Evaluation and Accreditation, Dr Muna Al-Balushi asserted that necessary standards and guidelines for organising the implementation of the e-learning and distance learning systems have been set, which are in line with the institutional accreditation standards in force in the Kingdom, and to which private higher education institutions should be committed.
Among the most important guidelines and standards is that the institution should have a clear strategy towards e-learning and distance learning in the circumstances that require it.
