Bahrain: Solartecc to produce 3MW solar power plant for real estate company

The CEO of Solartecc green Energy Solar Panels Factory located in Hidd, Mr. Rabie Abdullah, signed an agreement with the General Manager of Multicom Real Estate, Heeren Bhatia.

Solartecc will supply the real estate company with solar panels with a production capacity of 3 megawatts in two phases. The project is in the first stage with production work starting in two months.

Abdullah confirmed that the second phase will start immediately after the completion of the first phase, noting at the same time that the real estate company chose the factory to supply the solar panels as it offers competitive prices and solar panels with high technical specifications.

He added that the plant aims to produce about 80,000 solar panels with a production capacity of 25 megawatts of solar energy during 2022, stressing that the total projects that will be completed will exceed 10 megawatts by the end of this year.

Bhatia confirmed that his company – which is built on an area of 10,000 square meters – chose “Solar Tech Green Energy” to supply the solar panels in return for the incentive prices offered by the factory. He noted that the company will be able to save between 5 to 6 thousand dinars per month of the cost of electricity.

It is noteworthy that the Chairman of the Sustainable Energy Authority, Dr. Abdul Hussain Mirza, inaugurated last March the Solar Tech Green Energy plant for solar panels in the Hidd Industrial Area “Bahrain International Investment Park”, which is considered one of the promising projects that carries with it important additions to the supply and demand market.

The plant will be built on an area of 4,000 square meters at an estimated cost of two million dinars, and it intends to reach a manufacturing capacity of 80,000 solar panels annually – equivalent to a production of 25 megawatts of clean solar energy annually – which will have a positive impact on achieving national goals related to encouraging utilization of clean and sustainable energy, and will contribute to creating professional and specialized job opportunities that have become more in demand and more competitive over the past five years.

The factory provides solar panels for new projects of the public and private sectors, and the project will produce panels for Bahrain and the Gulf Cooperation Council countries, especially as the Gulf region is on the verge of using renewable energy.
