Bahrain Suspends Non-Essential Medical Services Until 21st May

The National Health Regulatory Authority (NHRA) released a circular regarding the suspension of non-essential medical services till 21st May. This move, issued by the Minister of Industry, Trade and Tourism, is an aim to prevent the spread of the Coronavirus (COVID-19).

The authority announced the continued suspension of non-urgent dental services (except for follow up cases), and aesthetic procedures (except hair laser therapies), and alternative therapies.

Non-emergent elective medical and surgical services are also temporarily suspended.
