A Theft gang of five members, including two Iranians, were arrested yesterday for stealing jewellery, expensive watches and mobile phones from homes.
The Director-General of Criminal Investigation and Forensic Science said that the stolen items were worth more than BD50,000.
Three of the suspects pretended as cyclists to spot their targeted homes, like big villas and waited outside to alert the other two who broke into these houses. An Investigation was launched after several cases were reported.
The suspects were identified and arrested in different locations seizing the theft equipment and many stolen items. Legal procedures were taken and the case was referred to the Public Prosecution.
