The Ministry of Housing and Urban Planning will hold the third edition of the Housing Finance Exhibition at City Centre Bahrain on February 8-17. The event is in line with the directives of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, to hold events and exhibitions that highlight housing services and financing programmes. Commenting, Amna Al Rumaihi, Housing and Urban Planning Minister, said that the number of real estate companies and agents participating in the Housing Finance Exhibition will increase significantly this year. She indicated that 28 real estate companies will offer more than 10,000 varied properties at prices that suit the value of housing financing, adding that eight commercial banks participating in the housing financing programme will also take part in the Housing Finance Exhibition 2024. The joint pavilion of the Ministry of Housing and Urban Planning and Eskan Bank will provide financial consultations to the citizens during the exhibition, she said, adding that the Urban Planning and Development Authority’s platform will inform the citizens wishing to benefit from housing finance services (Tas’heel Ta’awon) about the classification of their land and the possibility of subdividing it. The minister indicated that the housing financing exhibitions aim to introduce the citizens to the types and features of housing financing services, as well as to give them the right advice. The exhibition also provides a platform to showcase projects that will be implemented under the Government Land Development Programme, in addition to exclusive offers for those wishing to benefit from Tas’heel and Mazaya housing financing schemes, she added. Minister Al Rumaihi called on the citizens to visit the 10-day exhibition to benefit from the diversity of real estate and financing options, and to obtain suitable housing through immediate services.
