Bahrain to Get An Exclusive “Indian Market”

A proposal to establish a first-of-its-kind market for Indian products was approved. The project, proposed to be within the Southern Governorate, will be an “Indian Market” to be a copy to the Chinese market “Dragon City” in Amwaj Islands.

The proposal came in line with the presence of the large Indian community in the Gulf and Bahrain, as well as the ease of access to the market by the Indian community in the Gulf countries coming by land via the King Fahd Causeway.

He added that the proposal came at a time Bahrain hosted a number of mega wedding parties for Indian families.
