Bahrain to Have an Integrated Farmers Market

Muharraq Governor Salman Al Mannai stressed the province’s support for Bahraini farmers and national products in general, announcing the intention to develop a project of a Farmers’ market in Muharraq and move it to an advanced stage to be an integrated market that includes productive families and locally manufactured Bahraini produce.

This came during his visit to the current farmers market in Muharraq, praising the Bahraini agricultural products, affirming the support of the governorate for its continuity and maintaining the profession of parents and grandparents in the agricultural field.

The Governor expressed his happiness at the people’s demand on the national products and revealed the governorate’s plan to establish an open market for the national products in an appropriate location that includes public services and facilities to serve market visitors, both the residents or tourists.
