Bahrain will host the first IR4.0 ME Expo and Summit in 2020. Coined by the World Economic Forum (WEF), the 4IR is an umbrella term used to cover multiple technologies that, taken together, will potentially revolutionise many aspects of our work, life and business.
The event will take place from 6-8 October 2020 at the Bahrain Exhibition Centre. “The integrated components comprise of an Expo, a Global Standard Summit, a Youth Speak Forum and an Academy” says Jubran Abdulrahman, Managing Director of the organisers Hilal Conferences and Exhibition.
IR4.0 ME will look to energy-related, industrial, manufacturing and agro-manufacturing companies within the context of the Fourth Industrial Revolution. The event will touch base on several core technologies: Advanced Materials, Smart Manufacturing, Energy, The Cloud & Big Data, Synthetic Biology, Virtual and Augmented Reality, Artificial Intelligence, Robots, Blockchain, 3D Printing, and the Internet of Things.
IR4.0 have already gathered the stakeholder support of Middle East Solar Association (MESIA), Bahrain Solar Association, PhD Chambers of Commerce in India, Assocham India, AIESEC and TDAP Pakistan.
