Coronavirus: Free Treatment for 47 Expats in Bahrain

The King HM Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa has ordered to provide free treatment for 47 expatriate residents diagnosed with the COVID-19 virus.

The migrant workers who had been quarantined as a precautionary measure because of contact with an existing patient were tested positive.

The Ministry of Health confirmed that it immediately took precautionary and preventive measures for all those involved in these cases, confined all workers in the designated precautionary quarantine centres, placed them under observation, and conducted laboratory tests to ensure their safety, and it was decided to extend their stay in the quarantine for a period of two weeks according to the preventive measures followed.
