Bahrain: Total 89 Expat Workers Among Today’s 110 New Cases

The Ministry of Health confirmed that it detected 52 more new coronavirus cases today, bringing today’s total to 110 and the total number of active cases to 1,458.

Of this 52, 39 cases are of expat workers, 12 are contacts of active cases and 1 is of a Bahraini.

Earlier today, 58 cases were reported of which 50 were expat workers, bringing the total number of expat workers infected today to 89.

Health officials in Bahrain also confirmed 85 more recoveries from the COVID-19 coronavirus today, bringing today’s total to 145 and the total number of recoveries so far to 1,455 since the outbreak first began.

Currently, a total of 126,905 people have been tested and the total number of confirmed active cases is 1458, amongst which 1 patient is in critical condition. To date, 1455  patients have been discharged and 8 deaths have been confirmed.
