Bahrain: Total deaths due to coronavirus reach 46
The Ministry of Health announces the death of a 75-year-old female citizen, a registered active case of coronavirus (COVID-19). This increases the total number of deaths in the kingdom to 46.
The Ministry of Health expresses its heartfelt condolences to the individual’s family at this difficult time. The patient, along with all other active COVID-19 cases, had been placed in isolation and received extensive 24-hour treatment from a specialised medical team.
The Ministry of Health also recorded that 5,286 cases are stable and 15 cases are critical. However, only 140 active cases are receiving treatment and 13,197 cases have been discharged.
