Saudi Arabia reports 997 new Covid-19 cases, 14 deaths

The Ministry of Health on Saturday announced 997 new Covid-19 cases, bringing the total number of cases to 425,442, including 9,707 active cases – of which, 1,319 are critical.

The ministry added that 14 new deaths have been reported, bringing the overall tally up to 7,059.

No information was provided on the ages of those who died or if they suffered any pre-existing conditions.

As many as 1,026 cases have recovered, raising recovery toll to 408,676.
