Saudi Arabia reports 323 new cases, 25 deaths

Saudi Arabia’s daily tally of coronavirus cases have continued to drop, with only 323 new infections reported today, according to the Ministry of Health.

The ministry also announced 25 people have died from complications caused by COVID-19 over the past 24 hours.

This brings the kingdom’s total number of confirmed infections to 339,267 and the virus-related death toll to 5,043 respectively.

Of the news cases, Medina recorded 64, followed by with Riyadh 27 and Hofuf with 21. The remaining cases were detected in different cities and governorates across the kingdom.

Active cases have also dropped sharply in the kingdom with 8,894 reported on Sunday out of which 826 are critical.
