Authorities in Ajman have shut down a shopping centre and fined its owner Dh5,000 after a flash sale resulted in a crowd of shoppers and Covid-19 safety measures were flouted.
A video shared by the Ajman Police on Saturday showed very little social distancing between shoppers.
The Emergency, Crisis and Disaster Management Team in Ajman and the police have urged shop managements to implement all Covid-19 safety measures.
