Bahraini Twins Jailed 15 Years For Drugs Dealing

The Fourth High Criminal Court sentenced four defendants to 6 months in jail.

Bahraini twin brothers were sentenced to 15-years jail term and a fine of BD5,000 each for using and selling drugs by the First High Criminal Court.

The 27-year-old twins were arrested by a special team of police after receiving a tipoff.

According to court details, the team raided their house and found drugs in their possession. The Public Prosecution said that they were also possessing BD14,980.

When interrogated about the source of money, the accused said that there were into shrimp trading and thus obtained the amount.

The Public Prosecution charged the accused with possessing hashish with an intention to use and sell.
