Qatar Airways Vows To Support Riyadh Air, Announces New Saudi, UAE Routes

Qatar Airways will support new Saudi airline Riyadh Air, said CEO Akbar Al Baker.

Speaking on the first day of Arabian Travel Market (ATM) in Dubai, Al Baker also announced new and returning destinations in Saudi Arabia.

Furthermore, the Qatar Airways boss announced new flights to the UAE.

On the sidelines of the ATM exhibition he said the airline could look into future codeshares agreements or technical support with Riyadh Air.

Al Baker said Qatar Airways will add Tabouk, Saudi Arabia to its network and also resume services to Yanbu, Saudi Arabia. The airline currently flies to Abu Dhabi, Dubai and Sharjah, and more recently, will begin services to Ras Al Khaimah in the UAE.
