Bahrain is preparing for its largest Iftar distribution for workers, bringing together labourers from various camps in Tubli under one roof. Unlike routine Iftar events, this initiative unites workers from different camps in a single grand gathering.

The social service initiative, ‘Iftar 2025’, has been an annual Ramadan tradition, offering workers a communal space for breaking their fast. This year’s event will be on a larger scale, with extensive arrangements in place.

Scheduled today at 4 PM, the event will be led by Yusuf Yaqoob Lorry, Director of Information and Follow-Up at the Capital Governorate, with officials, volunteers, and organisation leaders in attendance. Coordinator Basheer Ambalayi said broad participation is expected at the event.
