Michael Saylor is marking his first-ever speaking appearance at a UAE crypto event. The Executive Chairman of Strategy will speak at Binance Blockchain Week (BBW) in Dubai on 3 and 4 December, marking a significant first appearance at a UAE crypto event.
Saylor turned his software company, Strategy, into the biggest corporate holder of Bitcoin and has become one of crypto’s loudest cheerleaders.
Binance Blockchain Week: The Lineup
The Gulf region has indeed become an important ground for the industry – the entire BBW lineup proves this. Michael Saylor will be joined by Brad Garlinghouse from Ripple, Lily Liu from the Solana Foundation, and Raoul Pal from Real Vision. Then there’s CZ, the founder of Giggle Academy and co-founder of Binance.

The rest of the lineup covers the breadth of blockchain. Avery Ching, Co-Founder and CEO of Aptos Labs; Alex Svanevik, CEO of Nansen; Illia Polosukhin, Co-Founder of NEAR Protocol; and Sandeep Nailwal, Co-Founder of Polygon Labs, will all share their take on where things are heading. Also speaking are David Namdar, CEO of BNB Network; Abdulla Aldhaheri, CEO of The Blockchain Centre Abu Dhabi; Rene Reinsberg, Co-Founder of Celo; and Christian Angermayer, Founder of Apeiron Investment Group.
“Their collective expertise will elevate discussions and inspire the community, from professionals to everyday users, as we move into a new era for the industry,” said Binance CEO Richard Teng.
The stage will also feature key leaders from Binance, including Yi He, Co-Founder; Richard Teng, Chief Executive Officer; Rachel Conlan, Chief Marketing Officer; and Catherine Chen, Head of Binance VIP & Institutional.”

Dubai Matters for Crypto
Dubai has become a natural home for events like BBW. Thousands of crypto companies are now based in the region, attracted by regulations that try to balance innovation with oversight. The UAE has effectively become a testing ground for how governments and crypto can work together.
Binance Blockchain Week is the biggest of Binance’s 1,500 yearly events worldwide, returning to the Coca-Cola Arena for its second consecutive year. Topics will range from regulation to technology and adoption. Celo is sponsoring the event, along with Solayer and NEXPACE.
Early-bird tickets cost $99 through the Binance Blockchain Week website, though prices go up next month.
