Bahrain: Arab man jailed for smuggling attempt
A 33-year-old Arab man, who forced his wife to hide drugs under her clothes in a bid to smuggle them into the Kingdom of Bahrain, has been hit with 15 years in prison.
The couple were captured while attempting to enter Bahrain via King Fahad Causeway with 350 grams of hashish.
The man told the Prosecutors that he was offered BD1,000 to smuggle the drugs.
