India: 6 cases of new Covid-19 strain detected in Kerala

A coronavirus alert has been made in Thiruvananthapuram after six UK nationals who had been residing in Kerela returns to the state on December 14. They were tested positive for coronavirus, two in Kozhikode, two in Alappuzha, one in Kottayam and one in Kannur.

Health Minister KK Shailaja called on the people to opt for self-imposed lockdown. He states that more people are coming out after the lockdown restrictions were relaxed. They will now have to adopt self-imposed lockdown and show more self-discipline. People must go out only of their houses for emergency purposes.
