Oman: Several Foreign Nationals, Expats Arrested for Various Crimes
The Royal Oman Police (ROP) arrested several foreign nationals as well as expat women in two separate incidents on Wednesday.
A group of expat women have been arrested for violating public morals and violating the foreigners’ residency law in Muscat Governorate. The ROP said, “Muscat Governorate Police Command arrests a group of women of different nationalities in the Al Khuwair area for violating public morals and violating the foreigners’ residency law. Legal procedures are being completed against them.”
In another incident, the ROP arrested 10 foreign nationals and two others for entering the Sultanate of Oman illegally. “The Al Dakhiliyah Governorate Police Command arrested ten infiltrators of African nationality and two people for transporting them and facilitating their illegal entry into the country. The legal procedures were completed against them.”
