China, on Friday, reported 19 new coronavirus (COVID-19) infections in the last 24 hours. No deaths occurred.
The National Health Commission was quoted by the Xinhua news agency as saying that the tally of infections reached 87,072.
Deaths remained at 4,634. The tally of recoveries hit 82,067 with the discharge of 16 people within the last 24 hours, revealed the commission, adding that 370 were still receiving treatment.
