Coronavirus: 81 New Cases, 19 recoveries in Bahrain

The Ministry of Health in Bahrain registered 81 new active cases of which 67 are expatriate workers, 13 are contacts of active cases, and 1 was repatriated by the Repatriation Programme.

Health officials in Bahrain also confirmed 19 new recoveries from the COVID-19 coronavirus today, bringing the total number of recoveries so far to 1,737 since the outbreak first began.


Currently, a total of 148,109 people have been tested and the total number of confirmed active cases is 1719, amongst which 1 patient is in critical condition. Eight deaths have been recorded in total.
