Find your balance in staying informed
There is extensive news coverage about the outbreak. If you find that the news is causing you huge stress, it’s important to find a balance.
Take breaks from watching, reading, or listening to news stories, including those on social media. Hearing about the pandemic repeatedly can be upsetting.
Keep in touch with friends and family
At times of stress, we work better in company and with support. Talk with people you trust about your concerns and how you are feeling. While social distancing measures are in place, consider connecting online, through social media, or by phone or mail.
