COVID-19: Are you packing your child’s school essentials correctly?

The COVID-19 pandemic has undoubtedly brought a cloud of uncertainty to education institutions in the world, especially in Bahrain. After months of remote learning, sending your children back to the classroom can be daunting. We have rounded up the best ways you can consider to provide a safer experience for your kids.

Masks

If you’re going with disposable ones, students are likely to need more than you think. Reusable cloth masks are also good, including those with a pocket for a filter that provides added protection. But make sure these masks are comfortable because students may have to spend hours wearing them.

Hand sanitizer

Students will see it around campus, but you’ll also want to pack this too.

Water bottle

It’s no surprise that many schools are turning their water fountains off this year as a preventative measure in hopes of minimizing the spread of any germs or viruses like COVID-19. Be prepared and send your student to school with a durable, insulated water bottle.

Other protective essentials to pack

  • Proper storage for COVID-19 essentials
  • Antimicrobial wipes
  • Snacks
  • Tissues
  • Personalized labels

The healthier you can keep your kids, the less likely that will contract the virus. But ultimately, the best way parents can keep their children safe is to help them stay nourished and well rested.
