Coronavirus: Kuwait reports 683 new cases, 2 fatalities

Kuwait has recorded 683 new cases of the novel coronavirus over the past 24 hours, taking the country’s infection tally to 33, 823 the Kuwaiti news agency KUNA reported.

The Health Ministry also announced two more deaths from COVID-19, bringing the total such fatalities in the country to 275.

All the new cases were in contact with previously infected people or are being investigated for sources of infection, the Health Ministry’s spokesman Dr Abdullah Al Sanad said in a media update.

The Health Ministry earlier reported that 1,126 more patients have recovered from the disease over the past 24 hours, bringing to 23,288 the total of such recoveries in the country.
