Coronavirus: Oman Reports One Death, 50 New Cases

Oman announced the death of a 66-year-old resident with coronavirus today, raising the country’s death toll to five.

The Sultanate has so far confirmed 1,069 cases after recording 50 new cases over the past 24 hours, according to the health ministry.

Of the 50 new, 26 cases are Omanis while 24 are expats.

Meanwhile, 176 people have recovered.

Oman continued to urge people to adhere to preventative measures implemented by the sultanate to slow the spread of the virus.
