Coronavirus: UAE reports 491 cases; 815 recoveries

The UAE health authorities reported 491 novel coronavirus (COVID-19) infections after conducting ocer 40,000 tests, taking the overall number t0 41, 990 cases.

The Ministry of Health and Prevention said one infected patient had passed away due to coronavirus complications, raising the death toll to 288 to-date.

In a statement reported by the UAE news agency (WAM), the ministry said that an additional 815 infected patients had recovered, taking the overall number of recoveries to 26, 761.
