Coronavirus Update: All Schools, Kindergartens Closed in Bahrain

All public and private schools and kindergartens will be closed for two weeks due to the spread of Coronavirus in Bahrain.

In line with the directives of the Government’s Executive Committee, chaired by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister, the Ministry of Education today announced that all public and private schools, including kindergartens, will be closed for two weeks starting from Wednesday 26 February 2020.

The Ministry added that the decision was taken in light of the precautionary measures taken to contain the spread of the Coronavirus (COVID-19) among individuals who have visited Iran, before the country announced it was facing a COVID-19 pandemic.

just to send a real message, all 23 cases found in Bahrain are currently in Quarantine for precautionary measures. just few of them Carrying the virus at beginning stage, but most others are not infected, this is because they came from places that declared as endemic areas such as Iran. The Quarantine just to make sure that they don’t get mix with normal people until the infected cases get cured. and for the rest they will remain in Quarantine for 14 days to make sure they are not infected.
