Coronavirus: Violators in Bahrain To Face Strict Legal Measures

“We will immediately address anyone who violates the measures taken to limit the spread of (COVID-19),” this was announced in an official statement by officials of the public prosecution after a meeting with their counterparts of the Ministry of Health.

They stated that this decision came in line with the determined efforts to limit the spread of the COVID-19. They also stressed the need for all to abide by the procedures imposed to isolate the injured, and those suspected of having this disease.

Legal measures will be taken with regards to any gathering of more than five people in public places, including, but not limited to markets, public parks and public beaches. Furthermore, the Chief of Public Security underlined the importance of leaving at least a meter between individuals in any group in order to ensure everyone’s safety.
