Saudi: Gunman Shoots at Security During Arrest of 3 for Drug Promotion
A Saudi gunman opened fire on security men while being arrested along with 2 other citizens, during a raid on a den. They were arrested for promoting the amphetamine drug in Al-Qunfudhah Governorate.
The security men responded by opening fire in order to neutralise the danger. Though there was exchange of fire, there were no injuries.
The security men indicated that they seized firearms and an amount of money that were in the possession of the accused.
The three suspects were arrested and legal measures were taken against them, and they were referred to the competent authority.
