Lebanon’s army patrol streets to enforce preventative measures

Following the request from Lebanon’s prime minister Hassan Diab on Saturday for stricter preventative measures, the country’s army has been on the streets of downtown Beirut today, patrolling.


Lebanese officials called for tougher emergency measures, including curfews, after the number of coronavirus cases in the country surged to 230, with four victims believed to be in critical condition.
