Dubai: 10 days Quarantine mandatory if you came in close contact with a COVID-19 case

As stated by the Dubai Health Authority (DHA), if you have come in close contact with a COVID-19 positive case, you would be required to go into quarantine for 10 days.

The reduced period for isolation, from 14 days to 10 days, is applicable in the following cases:

• COVID-19 patients who did not show any symptoms since testing positive.

• Patients with mild cases of COVID-19 who have fully recovered from their symptoms – without the use of fever-reducing medications.

• Individuals who have come in close contact with a confirmed COVID-19 case but did not show any symptoms. The 10-day quarantine period starts from the day they were exposed to the confirmed case.
