Ex-Trump Adviser Accuses Fauci of Deception Over COVID-19 Origins and Pfizer Vaccine
Former Trump administration adviser Peter Navarro has claimed that former President Trump was misled into believing that Pfizer’s COVID-19 shot was a “true vaccine,” while accusing Dr. Anthony Fauci of concealing crucial information about the virus’s origin. In a May 4 podcast with Patrick Bet-David on YouTube, Navarro stated that Fauci and Pfizer “didn’t disclose the side effects of that [vaccine]” to Trump and misled him about its mRNA technology.
Traditional vaccines introduce a harmless piece of bacteria or virus into the body to trigger an immune response. In contrast, mRNA vaccines use a molecule called messenger RNA that corresponds to a viral protein, typically found in the virus’s outer membrane.
Navarro accused Fauci of exacerbating the COVID-19 pandemic in the United States, alleging that Fauci knew the virus originated from the Wuhan lab due to his funding of gain-of-function research there. Navarro claimed that Fauci had already begun designing a cover-up, as evidenced by emails he sent to researchers and academics to support the “come from nature” theory.
Navarro argued that if Fauci had admitted the virus came from the lab, the US could have pressured China to provide the genome sequence, allowing for the development of a more effective vaccine.
The ex-Trump advisor also claimed that Fauci lied to the American people by not disclosing the possibility that the virus came from a lab, which prevented the US from obtaining the genome sequence.
