Dust storms forecast over parts of Oman

Some parts of the Sultanate will witness dust storms blowing over the desert as well as open areas, Oman Meteorology said on Tuesday.

A statement issued online by Oman Meteorology said: “Mainly clear skies over most of the Sultanate with dust storms over deserts and open area. Chances of late night to early morning low level clouds or fog over parts of Al Wusta governorate.”

The expected maximum and minimum temperature will be 33 degrees Celsius and 25 degrees in Muscat Governorate, 35 degrees and 24 degrees in the wilayat of Sohar and 34 degrees and 20 degrees in the wilayat of Ibri , 35 degrees and 21 degrees in the wilayat of Nizwa and 34 degrees and 26 degrees in the wilayat of Rustaq. A fog warning was also issued.

According to Oman News Agency (ONA), the highest temperature expected on Tuesday is 38 degrees in the wilayats of Adam and Marmul and the lowest is 12 degrees in Jabal Shams.
