Some people in Bahrain posted on social media that they felt tremors and were evacuated from high-rise buildings. The tremors were felt around 9.35 AM today morning.

The tremors that caused panic among residents were reportedly linked to the Earthquake that happened in Iran around 100 kilometers, East of Bushehr.

The U.S. Geological Survey says a magnitude 5.5 earthquake has struck in southern Iran near a nuclear plant, shaking Bahrain and other areas around GCC. Reports say that some parts of Qatar also felt mild tremors.
