Emirates has issued an update on its services to Iraq, Iran, and Lebanon due to the current regional situation and continue to ‘closely monitor the situation in the region and are in contact with relevant authorities regarding developments.’

Flight status for Iraq

In a statement on Tuesday, the airline confirmed that flights to and from Baghdad have been suspended until and including November 14, 2024. Passengers transiting through Dubai on Emirates flights with Baghdad as their final destination will now be accepted for travel from their origin until further notice.

However, flydubai continues to operate flights to Baghdad, allowing passengers with confirmed flydubai bookings to proceed with travel plans. Passengers are encouraged to regularly check the flight status for updates.

Extended suspension of Beirut flights

Flights between Dubai and Beirut will remain suspended until November 30, 2024. As with the Baghdad route, Emirates will not accept passengers transiting through Dubai with Beirut as their final destination.

Operations resuming to Tehran, Iran

Emirates will resume flights to and from Tehran starting October 31, 2024.

Impacted passengers should contact their booking agents for alternative travel arrangements or reach out directly to Emirates if they booked through the airline.

The airline also requests that customers verify their contact details via the airline’s “Manage Your Booking” portal to stay informed about the latest updates.
