Saudi Arabia: Traffic fines to be paid in full, not instalments

Saudi traffic authorities have ruled out the payment of fines related to road infringements in instalments.

However, multiple fines can be paid separately, the General Traffic Department said, according to the Saudi news portal Ajel.

Authorities also warned that those failing to renew their car licence in due time after a 60-day deadline risk a fine of SR100 for each year.

Driving a car with an expired licence is an offence punishable by a fine ranging from SR300 to 500 in Saudi Arabia.
