Emirates to operate second daily flight to Bahrain

Emirates will introduce a second daily flight to Bahrain starting from September 20, the airline said in a statement on Saturday.

It will be operated by a Boeing 777-300ER. The Emirates flight EK837 will depart from Dubai at 9.45 am and land in Bahrain at 10 am. On return, EK838 will take off from Bahrain at 11.30 am and arrive in Dubai at 1.55 pm.

Customers can stopover or travel to Dubai as the city has re-opened for international business and leisure visitors said the statement from Emirates.

Ensuring the safety of travellers, visitors, and the community, Covid-19 PCR tests are mandatory for all inbound and transit passengers arriving to Dubai (and the UAE), including UAE citizens, residents and tourists, irrespective of the country they are coming from, it stated.

The expanded schedule will offer enhanced connectivity for customers travelling to Dubai and beyond to Emirates’ network of over 85 destinations, it added.
