Emirates has introduced its refurbished Boeing 777 aircraft to Riyadh, making it the first Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) destination to receive the upgraded service.

The aircraft features a new Business Class cabin and the carrier’s Premium Economy seats.

The refurbished Boeing 777 operates on the daily EK819/820 service.

Emirates’ four-class aircraft configuration

The outbound flight departs Dubai at 0710hrs, arriving in Riyadh at 0805hrs. The return flight leaves Riyadh at 0940hrs, landing in Dubai at 1235hrs.

The four-class aircraft offers 24 Premium Economy seats in a 2-4-2 configuration, with 6-way adjustable headrests.

The upgraded Business Class cabin provides 38 seats in a 1-2-1 layout, offering privacy and direct aisle access.

Additional features include a mini-bar and multiple charging ports. Emirates introduces Premium Economy seats on the Riyadh route.

The aircraft also includes 6 First Class “gamechanger” suites and a refreshed Economy Class cabin with 256 seats featuring adjustable leather headrests.

Emirates plans to have 48 aircraft fitted with Premium Economy by the end of the year, serving 27 destinations including Dubai. The Premium Economy service will be available on the airline’s fleet of B777s, A380s, and A350s.

The carrier currently operates 72 weekly flights to four gateways in Saudi Arabia, with 3 daily flights to Riyadh using a mix of B777s and A380s. Passengers can book tickets through emirates.com, the App, or travel agents.
