Gasoline prices to drop by the end of 2019

The price of a liter of gasoline in Bahrain is expected to fall to 0.34 cents (128 fils) by the end of the last quarter of 2019.

Gasoline prices are likely to continue falling by two cents to reach around 0.32 cents per liter in 2020.

Bahrain ranked third in the world for the lowest price in ordinary gasoline and second in the GCC for the cheapest country in fuel prices. Gasoline in Kuwait is currently the cheapest in the GCC as the price of the excellent type (mumtaz) is 105 fils ($ 0.345), the ordinary (Jayyed) is 85 fils (0.279 dollars), and diesel price is 115 fils (0.378) dollars.
