Global coronavirus cases have surpassed 100 million

More than 100 million people have been reported to be infected by the novel coronavirus globally as of Wednesday and more than 2.1 million deaths.

The worst-affected countries are the US, India, Brazil, Russia and the UK – makig up more than half of all reported COVID-19 cases, representing 28% of the global population, according to a Reuters analysis.
