Bahrain: MPs Propose Savings Fund for Expats
Members of parliament intend to present an urgent proposal to establish a savings fund for expatriates. This went viral and received massive comments on social media.
Deputies explained that the savings fund would be financed through deductions from expatriates’ wages. They noted that it aimed to cover expenses of their deportation.
They added that the remaining amounts of the total deducted amounts would be returned after deducting the expenses of returning them to their countries.
