Gulf Air, the national carrier of the Kingdom of Bahrain, has announced that it will add 38 extra flights to Jeddah and Medina to facilitate pilgrims’ movement to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to perform Hajj.
Starting from 28 July, the Gulf Air’s extra flights will operate to provide expanded capacity owing to the increasing demand during the Hajj season.
The airline’s regular schedule consists of three to four daily flights to Jeddah and seven weekly flights to Medina and adds extra flights during the Hajj season to facilitate such demand.
Gulf Air’s Deputy Chief Executive Officer AlAlawi said: “This is a journey of a lifetime where our Muslim brothers and sisters travel to Mecca and Medina to complete a core pillar in the Islamic religion. From the entire Gulf Air family, we wish all pilgrims safe journeys and successful Hajj”.
