Gulf Hotels Group has announced a big move, partnering with Marriott International to integrate the iconic Gulf Hotel Bahrain into the Autograph Collection Hotels’ portfolio. The signing ceremony was held at the Future Hospitality Summit on 30th September in Dubai.

Established in 1969, Gulf Hotel, one of the first five-star hotels to open in Bahrain, is expected to benefit from Marriott’s global systems and loyalty programme – Marriott Bonvoy. The hotel will continue to remain under the full management of Gulf Hotels Group while retaining its iconic name.

With a global portfolio of over 300 hotels, Marriott’s Autograph Collection includes brands that are distinguished by a unique narrative and personalised service. Marriott Bonvoy, the award-winning travel programme and marketplace, gives access to transformative experiences across more than 30 hotel brands and 10,000 global destinations.

Under the Autograph Collection, Gulf Hotel is expected to provide guests with enhanced opportunities to experience the hotel’s distinct perspective on design and hospitality while providing guests with access to Marriott’s world-class loyalty programme.
