H.E. Padam Sundas, Ambassador(Nepal) speaks to Gulf Insider

The Government of Nepal opened its embassy in Manama, Bahrain from 01 September 2013. The establishment of the new embassy has opened new avenues of cooperation between the two countries in trade, tourism economic cooperation, and employment opportunities for Nepali nationals.

In 2018 and 2019 total export from Nepal to Bahrain was worth USD 6,142 and USD 4,102 respectively. Furthermore, the import from Bahrain to Nepal in 2018 and 2019 was worth USD 713,738 and USD 511,890 respectively.

The export articles to Bahrain are textile articles, carpet, textile floor coverings, printed books, newspapers, etc. whereas import articles to Nepal are mineral fuel oils, copper articles, aluminum articles, dairy products, and confectionery items, etc.
